The FORTRESS cricket nets can be cut to any requested size and are available in 3 thicknesses/strengths; 2mm, 2.5mm and 3mm (see comparison table below for info). Our range of cricket netting can be used both indoors & outdoors and is strong enough to stop balls being struck by all ages/levels of cricket player (home/club/county/test grade).

Our cricket net twine is made from HDPP (polypropylene) that is specially bonded (glued) and UV treated so the twine is strong, doesn’t unravel and is 100% weather resistant. The netting is knotted into a 48mm (2”) mesh size and features a 6mm border rope to reinforce the net edges. At Net World we believe that knotted cricket netting is significantly longer lasting than knotless based on intense research and our years of knowledge. If part of the twine breaks on knotless type netting, the mesh and eventually the whole net will start to destabilise and break apart because the twine fibres are all interconnected. On knotted cricket netting the twine is knotted mesh (not interconnected) so if the twine does break, only one mesh is broken (not the whole net).

This is why our heavy duty knotted HDPP cricket netting is used worldwide by high level cricket clubs including Nottinghamshire CC (at Trent Bridge) and Somerset CC (at Cooper Associates County Ground).
